OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. â As some still try and cast doubt on the 2020 election, local officials are hoping to quell lingering concerns. In Ottawa County, theyâre making a concerted effort to give the public a close look at the election process.
âWe were getting so many calls from voters who legitimately had a lot of questions about the process and we wanted to be as open and transparent as we possibly could be and just laying out the facts of how this election was conducted,â Ottawa County Clerk Justin Roebuck told FOX 17.

Axis Bank has become a co-promoter of Max Life Insurance after a regulatory go ahead from the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (Irda).
The private sector lender will also nominate three representatives to the board of Max Life Insurance post this development. The three representative are Rajiv Anand, Rajesh Dahiya and Subrat Mohanty.
Anand heads the retail banking portfolio of Axis Bank while Dahiya heads multiple functions such as audit, human resources and compliance. Mohanty is the head of banking operations.

Audit New Zealand has warned Wellington City Council (WCC) is risking more burst pipes, reduced levels of service, and greater infrastructure costs than forecast.
The council has received a qualified opinion raising concerns about how it has determined its investment for three waters infrastructure.
It relates to WCC s draft Long Term Plan, which is about to go out for public consultation.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston community will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion to help in the assessment of racial bias for the North Charleston Police Department.
The audit is being conducted by CNA, a non-profit research group who also preformed the racial audit of the City of Charleston’s police department.
CNA Senior Research Scientist Zoe Thorkildsen says the group wants to hear citizen’s concerns about the police department during two sessions Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
